Consider A Hydrafacial

Pros Of Hydrafacials

• Hydrafacial treatment is appropriate for all skin types. Even those that have sensitive skin benefit from this procedure as it does not cause irritation and excessive redness.
• The recovery time is quick and fast. Soon after the procedure you can carry on with your day to day tasks. There is no downtime and you can even apply makeup on the same day itself.
• At the first sitting itself, instant results are immediately visible. After the required number of sittings, your skin looks clean, firm and glowing.
• The texture of your skin is greatly improved.
• The serums used in the hydrafacial treatment can be customized to suit your skin type and texture.
• The cost of a sitting is on par with most other cosmetic treatments.

Cons Of Hydrafacials

• You require more than one session to spot a drastic change in your appearance. It can be a time consuming process as you have to go in for more than one sitting.
• The results of the treatment are not definite in the sense that it differs from person to person. While some may experience favorable changes within the first sitting itself, others may need to go for multiple treatments before seeing any significant changes.
• Although the cost of one session is the same as most other facial treatments available, it can become more expensive if you require more than one sitting to get the desired results.

Remove Dark Circles

1. Cold cucumber slices

Cucumbers contain antioxidants that can reduce puffiness around the eyes. As a natural astringent and a coolant, cucumber causes the skin tissues to contract, making dark circles less prominent. Place finely cut cucumber slices on each eyelid. Leave it on for 5 minutes and rinse.

2. Cold tea bags

The caffeine present in tea bags shrinks blood vessels and reduces fluid retention in tissues making the skin around your eyes look vibrant and glowing. Cold tea bags cause skin tissues to shrink, leaving your eyes looking less puffy. Take two already soaked tea bags and refrigerate for 10 minutes. Remove and place them on each eye for 5 -10 minutes. Rinse with cold water and repeat 1-3 times a day to see effective results.

3. Mint leaves

Mint leaves contain menthol that improves blood circulation and soothes and rejuvenates skin. It is natural astringent and contracts the blood vessels around the eyes, reducing the blue tint. The vitamin C in mint makes the skin around the eyes appear brighter. Make your own mask at home by blending mint leaves and applying them on the affected area. Leave it for 10 minutes before rinsing.

4. Milk

Milk contains vitamins A and B6, which help build new skin cells. The vitamin B12 in milk naturally lightens dark skin. The selenium in milk protects skin from harmful free radicals and sun damage. Just soak two cotton pads in cold milk and squeeze out excess. Place the cotton pads on the eyes covering the dark circles. Leave it for 20 minutes and rinse with cold water. Repeat thrice a week.

5. Aloe vera

Aloe vera is an effective moisturiser and has anti-inflammatory properties. Clean the under eye area with moist cotton and apply massage aloe vera pulp under the eyes for 10 minutes. You don’t need to rinse unless you find it sticky.

6. Turmeric and mint leaves

Turmeric is known to rejuvenate tired and sagging skin. In a blender, puree mint leaves and strain to extract the juice. Add ¼ teaspoon of turmeric to the juice. Apply the mixture to the affected area and leave it on for 20 minutes. Allow it to dry and wash with cold water.

Natural Face Pack for All Skin Types

For Normal Skin

If you have normal skin, which is neither too oily nor too dry, this face pack is perfect for you. Take a banana and mash it using a fork and add a spoonful of honey. Apply the mask on your face & neck and leave for fifteen to twenty minutes. A banana would make your skin soft and honey would stop the acne problems and breakouts.

For Dry Skin

If you want your skin to be really smooth, a chick pea mask is the key to it. Take half teaspoon of this flour and add four drops of lemon. Mix them together and make a smooth, consistent paste. Now simply apply it on your skin and leave it for ten to fifteen minutes. This pack would give a nice glow to your skin and rejuvenate it by removing dead skin cells.

For Oily Skin

Yogurt has amazing qualities and this makes it the perfect ingredient for any face mask. It hydrates your skin and leaves a glow which lasts for days to come. For this skin remedy, take 1 spoon full of yogurt and add a pinch of turmeric to it. Turmeric has antibacterial properties which would keep your skin from breaking out. Apply it to the face and gently scrub it so that the dead cells are removed. Leave it for fifteen minutes but do not let it dry completely. Wash away with lukewarm water and you will have the smoothest skin ever.

Tips for Proven, Visible Results:

– Always clean your face with lukewarm water before applying any face pack. This removes the oil & dirt and helps the mask to work properly on your skin.

– Do not let the face pack dry as this causes wrinkles on the skin. When the face pack is about to dry, simply wash it or use a soft, wet cloth to remove it.

– If your skin feels irritated wash the pack immediately and apply a moisturizer or aloe vera gel to soothe it.

– Always ensure that you are not allergic to any ingredient before you apply it on your skin.

– You can add honey to any face pack as it would stop the acne problems and also save you from skin allergies and irritation.

Great Makeup

1. Avoid wearing too much

Makeup is meant to enhance features not bring negative attention to you. That’s what wearing too much makeup will do; it will bring you unwanted attention. Don’t wear too much of anything such as:

1. Eyeliner: dark, thick eyeliner will make you look overdone and will ruin the rest of your makeup.

2. Mascara: too much mascara looks fake and will flake. It looks especially bad if worn with thick eyeliner or dark blue eye eye shadow.

3. Foundation: Make sure your foundation is the same color as your skin. Foundation is meant to protect and give the face a smooth look. The magic word is blend.

4. Powder: The same holds true for powder – not too much. Also, be sure to blend your makeup so there are no obvious lines.

2. Lips

Apply lip liner to completely cover the lips, add color and your lipstick will stay on much longer. Make sure your lip liner doesn’t show. Also, your lip color should match your skin tone; wear cool colors if you have cool coloring and warm colors if you have warm coloring. If you want to make your lips look smaller, keep your liner on the inside of your lips. However, if you decide to make your lips look larger, going outside the natural outline of you lips is a mistake. This can look quite messy and unnatural.

3. Appropriate makeup

Wear makeup that is appropriate for the occasion. If you are going to the beach you shouldn’t wear the same or as much makeup as you would if you were going dancing. Also, when you are in daylight your makeup should be a lighter than when you are out for the evening.

4. Too little or no makeup

Some women don’t wear makeup because they are not sure how to use it and are afraid of being overdone. If you are unsure, start will light colours in your shade. Start slowly and add one product at a time. Maybe start with foundation, add mascara, blush or lipstick.
If you are not used to wearing makeup, using a lot a first may be a little too much for you, so start slowly. The bottom line is a little is better than none. If you are still unsure seek professional advice.

5. Overall look

When your makeup is completed it should look natural. That means avoiding colours that clash. If you have dark skin and hair you will look better in darker shades; light colours will make you look washed out. If your hair and skin tone are light, light colours will look better on you. Dark makeup will make you look older and harsh. If you have
oily skin, first use oil control moisturizer and foundation. Then be sure to wear loose powder, keeping pressed powder with you for touch ups.

6. Hair color

Your hair color should also be in harmony with your skin. If you have dark hair and you want to add color, keep it close to the same shade. If you have light hair, use light colors. As you age your skin will lighten, so should your hair color. One last thing about hair color – if you do color you hair be sure you keep it up, don’t let your roots show.
